🍂 Summer is over, and we are welcoming autumn with the successful commissioning of brand-new concrete block grinding line at our customers’ factory 🏭 Initial planning phaseThe project began in winter 2023 with engineering planning to assess whether the installation of the grinding line was feasible. The unit needed to fit in a specific location while synchronizing with existing machinery and accommodating space limitations. After verifying the unit's functionality and establishing a lead time for the entire project, we reached an agreement and proceeded with the project.Manufacturing phaseWhole project consisted three major steps, the grinding unit was manufactured and delivered by Kasins Oy, Automation software was made in cooperation with our long time partner Top Automation Oy, and product lift units and other needed structures to guarantee work safety and efficiency was made by Mecmetal Oy. The whole group worked in collaboration and information was exchanged openly. Each party worked synchronized, and timelines were executed as planned. After successful manufacturing and testing, the complete unit was ready for dispatch. Installation and commissioning phaseTwo weeks after installation began, commissioning and staff training were completed, and the grinding line was handed over to the customer within the agreed timeline and production capabilities.✅ ”The project was well planned in cooperation with the customer and our partners. It was a pleasure to implement this project based on Evolution-20 servo technology. I’m proud of our team, as well as the work, impact, and quality we've achieved. It was clear that help is not only needed but also welcomed in Ukraine's construction industry.Recognizing the importance of this effort, we made a strategic decision to get ready to contribute to Ukraine's rebuilding. In addition to our conference participation, one of our key initiatives has been to map out potential customers and partners in Ukraine and Poland, as Poland is a crucial gateway to Ukraine. We have previously done customer mapping projects with Nordic Trading House and were pleased with the results. The approach proved successful, so we decided to challenge them to replicate it for the Ukrainian and Polish markets. The project turned out to be a great success, and we are excited to meet some of the customers and partners in the coming months.We will also attend ReBuild Ukraine again this November and International Concrete Conference & Exhibition in February 2025, with our groundwork laid and ready to move forward with potential projects in Ukraine and Poland.Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of our initiatives. Kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan punaisen pöntön tarkoituksena on siirtää betonimassa myllystä suoraan haluttuun valupaikkaan ja annostella valettavan massan määrää pohjassa olevan luukun kautta. Kuten betonivalujen kanssa tekemisessä olleet tietää, valu paikat, muotit ja asennot eivät ole kahta kertaa samoja. But where do they use it?The mold (bottom part) and the tamper head (top part) are installed to block machine. Lifting operations lowers the mold to the right level. Then, Filling car with full of concrete mass, fills the empty slots of mold and tamper lowers to the surface and presses with not just power but also right frequency to make sure concrete mass is filled evenly in every spot and no cracks occur in products. Then the machine lifts the mold and tamper head and reveals ready shaped concrete products. The same shaped products we use to build houses, pavement paths at summer cottages and avoid scratching car rims at parking lots.
